This new Skyrim glitch video was recently posted on Reddit by a user known as RageurRandom. The video shows a Dragonborn climbing a tower in pursuit of a dragon. Upon climbing to the top of the tower and seeing the light of day, the dragon began to lift off. As the dragon rose above the tower, it gave up its soul to the Dragonborn, which dragons usually do at the conclusion of a battle.

While most dragons in Skyrim wait until the end of a battle to relinquish their souls, the dragon in this video from RageurRandom began the fight with this tactic. Due to the fact that this is a glitch, the Dragonborn was unable to fight this dragon as it became invincible by shedding its soul early. The flaming dragon flew through the sky after losing its soul and shedding its skin to reveal its skeletal body within.

The dragon in RageurRandom’s video resembles the firework Mary and Pippin scared the residents of Bag End with during The Lord of the Rings. Its soul stretches a great distance as it’s being absorbed by the Dragonborn while airborne. Although the dragon in RageurRandom’s video was engulfed in flames as it rose to the sky, it sprayed icy winds at the Dragonborn when it returned to the tower.

As the dragon in RageurRandom’s video takes to the sky in burning embers, it sheds its skin in addition to its soul. The Dragonborn attempted to battle the dragon briefly, but they confirmed on the Reddit post that the glitched dragon was invincible. This Skyrim glitch may be a big spectacle, but many Redditors pointed out the strategic advantage this move gave the dragon. The Dragonborn may have received the soul of the dragon, but the threat it posed was made infinitely larger.

Like many other Skyrim heroes, RageurRandom was hailed in the comments of his video as Dovahkiin. Poetic Redditors created brief bard tales amongst themselves as if they were attending the Bard College in Solitude. While this is a known Skyrim dragon glitch, many fans in the comments were seeing it for the first time. Some Redditors called this particular Skyrim dragon Chad in reference to an internet meme due to its lack of regard for its own soul.
