Spheal is an Ice/Water-type Pokemon that was first introduced in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. Many players consider Spheal to be one of the cutest Pokemon in the franchise, and as a result, look forward to catching one in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

As opposed to the other mainline Pokemon games, Pokemon Legends: Arceus changed the formula. Instead of focusing on battling against Gym Leaders and earning badges, players catch Pokemon as they travel across the Hisui region in order to obtain information for the Pokedex. As a Reddit user, Bill_4780, explored the Cobalt Coastlands, one of the many beautiful areas in Hisui that players can go to after the first few hours in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, they encountered a Spheal that they hoped to catch. However, something very strange happened instead.
Bill_4780 first threw an Oran Berry at the Spheal they wanted to add to their team. As the Spheal Pokemon was distracted with its back turned away, focusing on eating, the player threw a second Oran Berry to lure it closer to the log that they were hiding behind. The Spheal walked over to the log, and Bill_4780 sneaked over to the other side of it. Suddenly, a second Spheal came out of nowhere and began rolling around the player, which was quite hilarious.
With this second Spheal moving all around the player, Bill_4780 decided to take a clip of what had happened and posted it to Reddit rather than continuing to catch the Spheal that wasn’t acting nearly as strange. Many other Pokemon fans have seen the clip and liked it, making jokes about how awesome this funny Spheal is. Though the clip ended once Spheal stopped moving around, Bill_4780 said that he caught it and evolved it into a Walrein.
A lot of Pokemon fans have been playing Pokemon Legends: Arceus since it was released and are still discovering strange and funny things that the Pokemon do in the game. As the months pass leading to the next installments of the franchise, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which will come out at the end of the year, more Pokemon Legends: Arceus players will surely have hilarious interactions that will be posted online.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus is available on the Nintendo Switch.
