Those that play Overwatch with the Korean language option have noticed that sometimes when Reinhardt charges, it uses Echo’s voice instead. This has resulted in some confusing instances in matches where players are not quite sure how to react, since they can’t tell if they’re dealing with Reinhardt or Echo. The issue was brought to light by Twitter user Kaiser, who got a response from Blizzard.

Blizzard thanked Kaiser for the video of the Reinhardt/Echo voice swap bug, and said that it would be passed on to the team. Blizzard also indicated that the Overwatch team may actually already be aware of the bug, as it’s something that’s been an issue ever since Echo was introduced to the Overwatch PTR.
Luckily, Overwatch players that play in languages other than Korean don’t seem to be impacted by this bizarre Echo/Reinhardt voice swap bug. Even so, it’s definitely inconvenient for Korean players, and they will be hoping that Blizzard releases a fix sooner rather than later.
Overwatch is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
