The top D/ST waiver pickups will likely be the Lions (@ Packers), Bills (@ Jets), and Cardinals (@ 49ers), all of whom are owned in fewer than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues. The Broncos (@ Eagles), Panthers (vs. Falcons), and Chiefs (@ Cowboys) have especially poor matchups and are on the start-sit bubble. If you’re really looking to dig deep, you can try the 49ers against Drew Stanton, the Raiders against Jay Cutler/Matt Moore, or the Titans against Joe Flacco/Ryan Mallet.
Overall, there isn’t much to like about this week from a D/ST standpoint, but it’s possible bad weather with ugly things up like last week.
