The NFL trade deadline came and went without much fanfare Tuesday, so, assuming you’re starting Emmanuel Sanders if you own him, the main players whose new roles you might be wondering about are Phillip Dorsett/Mohamed Sanu and Kenyan Drake/Mark Walton. Dorsett is an almost certain start for me in three-WR leagues that also have a FLEX spot. He played just two fewer snaps than Julian Edelman on Sunday and should continue to provide the Pats’ with maybe their only deep threat. Sanu is less playable, but still an option. He’ll provide a big, versatile target out of New England’s slot. Drake faces a tough matchup against San Francisco but is certainly startable in PPR leagues. Walton has a good matchup against the Jets and wnill likely be in a lot of lineups despite a limited ceiling.
WEEK 9 NON-PPR RANKINGS:Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
Outside of that, it’s a lot of matchup watching once again. Danny Amendola (@ Raiders) and Cole Beasley (vs. Redskins) both have good ones and are great fits for your FLEX spot in PPR leagues. Jets’ WRs Jamison Crowder, Robby Anderson and Demaryius Thomas all deserve lineup consideration this week against the Dolphins, with Thomas being the least prominent and therefore most likely to be a decision come Sunday morning.
WEEK 9 PPR RANKINGS: Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end
Running back has a couple potential value gainers as injury reports come out – Jaylen Samuels could start for the Steelers if things break right, while we’ll wait and see what reports indicate Detroit will do with its backfield this week between Ty Johnson and Tra Carson.
