MORE WEEK 8 RANKINGS: QB | RB | TE | DEF | K

FIVE STAR

1.    Demaryius Thomas, Broncos vs. Chargers2.    Dez Bryant, Cowboys vs. Redskins3.    Jordy Nelson, Packers @ Saints4.    Randall Cobb, Packers @ Saints. Cobb leads wide receivers with eight TDs and is second overall behind Julius Thomas (nine).5.    Antonio Brown, Steelers vs. Colts6.    Jeremy Maclin, Eagles @ Cardinals. Opposing WRs have fared well against the Cardinals this season.7.    Brandon Marshall, Bears @ Patriots. Marshall will get his targets. Hopefully Jay Cutler puts them somewhere he can catch them.8.    Julio Jones, Falcons vs. Lions (London). The matchup isn’t great, but Jones is too dynamic to sit.9.    Alshon Jeffery, Bears @ Patriots. See Brandon Marshall.

FOUR STAR

10.    Michael Floyd, Cardinals vs. Eagles11.    Vincent Jackson, Buccaneers vs. Vikings. The targets have increased in each of the last five weeks (7, 9, 10, 12, 13). Now Mike Glennon just has to put it where his big receiver can catch it.12.    Pierre Garcon, Redskins @ Cowboys13.    Golden Tate, Lions vs. Falcons (London). Tate has averaged a shade over 11 targets over his last four games and should have chances against a terrible Falcons defense.14.    T.Y. Hilton, Colts @ Steelers. Hilton has only received fewer than nine targets once this season. He’ll continue to be heavily involved with Reggie Wayne out.15.    DeSean Jackson, Redskins @ Cowboys16.    Emmanuel Sanders, Broncos vs. Chargers

THREE STAR

17.    Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals vs. Eagles. We wish we could have a stronger endorsement for Fitz, but he continues to be neglected in the passing game.18.    Andre Johnson, Texans @ Titans19.    Steve Smith Sr., Ravens @ Bengals20.    Mike Wallace, Dolphins @ Jaguars. Yes, it’s Mike Wallace, but he’s been targeted fairly heavily and has scored in five of six games.21.    Marques Colston, Saints vs. Packers22.    Julian Edelman, Patriots vs. Bears23.    Roddy White, Falcons vs. Lions (London). Detroit has been very tough against opposing WR, but we’re still betting on White’s talent as a worthy WR2.24.    Kelvin Benjamin, Panthers vs. Seahawks. How much Richard Sherman will he see?25.    Sammy Watkins, Bills @ Jets. Watkins has received at least 12 targets in two of his last three games. Inconsistency is expected from rookies, so our expectations are tempered, but he’s going up against a depleted Jets secondary.26.    Mohamed Sanu, Bengals vs. Ravens. Sanu will remain the Bengals’ No. 1 receiver until A.J. Green returns.27.    DeAndre Hopkins, Texans @ Titans28.    Keenan Allen, Chargers @ Broncos. He’s only received double-digit targets twice this season, and aside from two TDs, he didn’t play particularly well in two games against the Broncos in 2013.29.    Terrance Williams, Cowboys vs. Redskins. T-Will continues to get in the box, but what happens when he doesn’t score?30.    Kendall Wright, Titans vs. Texans31.    Torrey Smith, Ravens @ Bengals. There’s still no reason to shower Smith with love, but he’s scored three times over the last three weeks, so it’s worth riding the hot hand as a WR3.

TWO STAR

32.    Wes Welker, Broncos vs. Chargers33.    Mike Evans, Buccaneers vs. Vikings. He’s broken the plane in his last two games and should continue to improve going forward. His weekly value remains heavily tied to scoring a touchdown though.34.    Cordarrelle Patterson, Vikings @ Buccaneers. A touchdown scored him from what would have essentially been a zero in most leagues. He’s been held under 30 yards on four occasions this season, and has yet to receive more than eight tagets. He’s a boom-or-bust WR3 who hasn’t exploded since Week 1.35.    Doug Baldwin, Seahawks @ Panthers. Baldwin went off last week, but let’s see him string a few good games in a row before hopping on the bandwagon.36.    Percy Harvin, Jets vs. Bills. Let’s see what Harvin does in a new offense led by a poor quarterback.37.    Cecil Shorts III, Jaguars vs. Dolphins. He hasn’t really produced, but 27 targets over his last two games is encouraging.38.    Malcom Floyd, Chargers @ Broncos39.    Brandin Cooks, Saints vs. Packers40.    Eric Decker, Jets vs. Bills

ONE STAR

41.    Brandon LaFell, Patriots vs. Bears42.    Dwayne Bowe, Chiefs vs. Rams43.    Brian Quick, Rams @ Chiefs. Two brutal games in a row has us wondering if Quick’s hot start was just a mirage.44.    Jarvis Landry, Dolphins @ Jaguars45.    Andrew Hawkins, Browns vs. Raiders46.    Justin Hunter, Titans vs. Texans47.    Andre Holmes, Raiders @ Browns48.    Hakeem Nicks, Colts @ Steelers. Nicks will be more involved with Wayne out, but he’s still not worth trusting.49.    Allen Robinson, Jaguars vs. Dolphins50.    James Jones, Raiders at Browns51.    Davante Adams, Packers @ Saints52.    Kenny Stills, Saints vs. Packers

ZERO STAR

53.    Jermaine Kearse, Seahawks @ Panthers54.    Jordan Matthews, Eagles @ Cardinals55.    Jarius Wright, Vikings @ Buccaneers
