Hooper couldn’t unseat Travis Kelce at the top of our rankings, but Kelce could be affected going forward if the ankle injury Patrick Mahomes sustained in Week 5 is worse than expected. Hooper is joined by George Kittle (@ Rams) and Zach Ertz (@ Vikings) in an otherwise an normal upper tier.

Then Will Dissly comes in. He’s proven he’s not a fluke. He was drafted as a block-first tight end, but somewhere between his time at the University of Washington and now, he’s turned into quite the target for Russell Wilson. If you snagged Dissly off the waiver wire, don’t even think about dropping him. He should probably start for you the rest of the way.
WEEK 6 PPR RANKINGS: Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end
If you’re not as lucky and don’t have a top-end TE, you’ll want to keep playing the matchups. Vernon Davis (if healthy) and Mike Gesicki face off in the Redskins-Dolphins game, which should see plenty of offensive production in a meeting of two bad teams. Broncos rookie Noah Fant (vs. Titans) gets to face a Tennessee defense that’s been fourth worst against the position in fantasy points this season. If you’re super desperate, you could try a Browns’ TE against Seattle, who’s given up the third-most receiving yards to the position in 2019, although whether that’s Demetrius Harris or Ricky Seals-Jones remains to be seen.
WEEK 6 DFS LINEUPS:Y! cash | Y! GPP | FD cash | FD GPP | DK cash | DK GPP
Two tight ends that were afterthoughts before Week 5 should be prominent features in some Week 6 lineups. Gerald Everett had his full breakout on Thursday night, showing good chemistry with Jared Goff and strong running after the catch. He should probably start as a fantasy TE until he slows down. And for the Jets, Chris Herndon returns from suspension and is a borderline fantasy starter as long as Sam Darnold is healthy. (Update: Herndon is out this week with a hamstring injury.)
A reminder, Week 6 is the first week with four teams on bye. The tight ends off this week are Darren Waller, Dawson Knox, Trey Burton, Eric Ebron, and Jack Doyle.
