Hopefully – for his owners’ sake – the Pats don’t jump out to an early three-TD lead, allowing them to take the air out of the ball.9. Cam Newton, Panthers vs. Steelers10. Jay Cutler, Bears @ Jets. With an ailing secondary, the Jets may not stand a chance against Cutler, Brandon Marshall, and Alshon Jeffery.11. Philip Rivers, Chargers @ Bills. We like Rivers, but fantasy owners should at least consider the West Coast to East Coast trip and early start for the Chargers.

- Russell Wilson, Seahawks vs. Broncos13. Tony Romo, Cowboys @ Rams14. Colin Kaepernick, 49ers @ Cardinals. Cardinals are a tough matchup, but we expect Kaepernick to be better than he was against the Bears.15. Andy Dalton, Bengals vs. Titans16. Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers @ Panthers17. Kirk Cousins, Redskins @ Eagles. Cousins tore through the Jaguars’ defense in Week 2, but we still want to see more before fully buying in.

18. Josh McCown, Buccaneers @ Falcons. All of a sudden McCown is a running threat, huh? A good game from McCown means more for the Week 3 ceilings of Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans.19. Alex Smith, Chiefs @ Dolphins20. EJ Manuel , Bills vs. Chargers. Do the Bills actually have some viable and reliable weapons? If so, Manuel could start climbing.21. Geno Smith, Jets vs. Bears. The Bears’ defense is far from scary these days, but do the Jets have enough to exploit the holes?22. Jake Locker, Titans @ Bengals23. Joe Flacco, Ravens @ Browns24. Eli Manning, Giants vs. Texans25. Ryan Tannehill, Dolphins vs. Chiefs. Somewhat popular as a preseason sleeper, Tannehill hasn’t gotten off to a stellar start. Still, a home matchup against the decimated Chiefs defense could be what he needs for a breakout.
